Smile Time Capsule... How do I port 9000 for ip

Am trying to get my security cameras DVR up on the internet and am using Virtual Box (Windows XP SP3) to access the internet. Am talking to technical dept of DVR manufacturer and we can't find literature for Time Capsule (only Airport Extreme) which is quite different - can't even guess the right options.

The idiot's guide, if available, would be much appreciated.

    Thank you oh wise ones!

You need to see which device on your network is your DHCP and or NAT server.
On that device, most likely your modem, you'll need to set up port forwarding.
