    Default EyeTV Appp not working

Hey guys, I have an iPad and the EyeTV app. It only works when my firewall is right off. I have followed the troubleshooting guide to the letter. Even downgrading to a "more stable" version. No dice

I was wondering if You guys have come across this and found a solution?

I haven't had any problems with EyeTV since installing it a month ago. It all worked first time. I've got a D-link wireless router and didn't need to change anything. I'm running EyeTV version 3.4.1 on my MacMini

Have you had it working previously?

Have you set up an account within the EyeTV application on your Mac? (under the iPhone/iPad tab)

What type of router do you have? Maybe try explicitly opening port 2170.

It only works if I turn my OSX firewall off. I am using an airport extreme base station.

I have set the OSX firewall to allow connection to eyetv and its helper.....many times.

Mine only worked when stealth mode was turned off. I upgraded the latest eye tv application on the mac and then even with stealth mode off it did not work. What I did to get it back to work was to go into the firewall and delete the eyetv permission, then turn restarted the eyetv app. I then turned the firewall off and connected via ipad. I then turned the firewall back on whilst watching a show. Now it works again with stealth mode off, but at least I can have the firewall on. There is something strange going on with the app.
