Depends on what you want it for...

My wife who doesn't use much media only got the 16gb.
Personally I load up lots of video so got the 32gb.

I have a 32gb now and I never go over 10gb so just getting the smaller one. I have like 80gb of music so wouldn't fit on there. I just use a smart playlist in iTunes to get me 5gb of random tracks that I just rotate when I get bored, easy

Got the 32GB at about 6:45 this morning. Still waiting for the Optus-Telstra port, though.

I got the 32gig about 30 seconds before midnight last night (in store). Tethering it now to my MacBook Pro in a hotel and it's working beautifully!

I was reading so much about how good the camera is, and I love photos, so. 32gb all the way, $49 Telstra plan

32gb. I figure with HD video, the extra memory might come in handy.

Yep I am with the others, 32 gig will be handy for the HD video and lots and lots of photos!

    16. I don't use video and I have a 120Gb iPod for music. Music is useless on a device which interrupts it with call/text noises.

16GB here on the Telstra $49 cap. I took a look how I used my previous iphone and could only justify the 16GB model.

Your like me, I have an iPod Nano for podcasts which I listen to when I go to bed.

I have very little music on my phone and that's just for when I am in the garden :-)

    32GB.

Currently have a 16GB iPod Touch and with more games, HD video recording and more, 32GB is what I need.

I went with 32gb. This one has to last me at least 2yrs , that's LOTS of photos and HD video and my iPod doesn't travel to well these days so might actually use the iPod function with a 32 never liked to on my 16.

With HD video recording and the ability to play back HD video, I went with the 32. Would have preferred a 64, but seeing as the chips have just been developed I knew it was highly unlikely there'd be a 64Gb model
