Hah, no. But I'm sick in bed. What else is there to do?

I'd be confirming that the additional data comes out of the cap at $0.25 rather than $2 before going nuts.

My reasoning is that although the datapacks reduce the cost, this appears to be part of the plan (like the Telstra Business caps) rather than a separate pack.

My data got applied today. My first service - which I don't really use - was done sometime early this morning. My main service, a number which was ported over from Vodafone a few weeks back, was done late this afternoon.

Woo, mine has also been applied.

No SMS, but I'm not complaining. Now, to remove my existing $10 data pack... That can probably wait until tomorrow, I think.

Possibly a silly question, but does anyone know if it's possible to get this deal today?

I assume it's run out, having read the whole thread, but as I've just arrived back in Australia (and haven't got my Optus SIMs - like a doofus I packed 'em in the sea freight) I need to port my Optus numbers across so I have an Aussie phone number again.

Already bought a couple of $2 pre-paid SIM packs from the T-Life down the street.

    Cheers.

Not available anymore unless you can get it through official channels (i.e. you're a Telstra Staff Member), but you know what? If you've got an ABN, the Telstra Business Caps are pretty much the same. Very little difference between the two.

$49 business cap should do you fine.

    Thanks bennyling!

I do have an ABN, so I shall take a look at that option soon.

Can anyone provide a copy of the T&C for the Family & Friends offer?

I can't find mine anywhere (possibly thrown out in error) and I want to have a read through them. As the FF offer site has been taken down, I can't go there to look.

    TIA.

A bit of thread bumpage, but good news - the Friends and Family cap is back if you buy an iPhone 5 (not 5S) on a 24 month MRO ($15 per month for 32gb, $20 for 64gb).

It doesn't seem like a very good deal though. Pay $10 per month extra ($120 over 12 months) then you have to give Telstra the phone back. At least on the two year plans you get the phone at the end which in my experience has been worth between $400 to $500 when I've sold them.

Eh? You don't have to give the phone back...
