iCal icon displays wrong date

I swear Leopard fixed this, and in my previous few Macs, Snow Kitty hasn't had this bug.

My new i7 15" MBP has a weird iCal icon. It appears to be stuck on '31'. I don't usually use iCal but do look at it to recall the date. Obviously, when I run iCal, the dock icon updates itself, but upon closing the app, it reverts back to it's default 31.

Is there something I'm missing? Weird!

Mine has been doing it lately as well. It's a Dock issue - if you right-click on System Prefs it will just show Options rather than the whole list of pref panes.

Open up Terminal.app and run "killall Dock" (without the quotes), that will fix both issues.

Ah yes, that cmd has fixed it. Weird.
