Books are all over the place in iTunes

I thought I would be clever and do a sort field on my Books so that series would appear together. Now it's a total mess. Books are now divided into separate groups. Some groups only have 1 book in them and others are repeated showing the same book in a different group. Even the Audiobooks now just say they are Books. All mixed in together. Before there was a group with all my epub books and another with all my Audiobooks. How can I get back to that. I've tried all the sort choices and none of them work. Is there a file somewhere in the mac I can delete that will reset them?

Can't delete this thread but when I restarted iTunes all was well.
