Default Ipad/IPhone conversatu=ion with folder monitoring

    Hi there all.

I'm using Handbrake to convert video to my ipad currently. I keep all my video in a folder on an external drive and I'd like to be able to set up an application that automatically monitors my video folder and automatically queues up any new file that added to the video folder and it's subfolders for conversion and output to the iPad video directory. Handbrake doesn't seem to offer this feature.. does anyone know of an OSX application that does ?

    Cheers

You can probably trigger an application to deal with a folder using Folder Actions.

There is bound to be a tutorial for media converters and how to automatically open a file and convert it to something else. The Handbrake CLI version should be able to do such, but without trying it, I'm not sure of any instructions to give you.

Hopefully this points you in the right direction!
Let me know how it goes.
