    Default iPad 3G models.

How are you guys thinking the 3G models will be sold. Unlocked or Locked? Prepaid or on a plan? Theories?

I reckon they'll be sold just like the iPhone..
On launch day, you'll only be able to get them from Apple, unlocked, with no SIM.

    With ON SIM???

How does this work when Steve said that the masses would be able to create and connect to a 3G service straight from the iPad without even going anywhere near a Telco service.

It would have to come with a sim card installed. Well that would be in the U.S.

    Anything could happen in Aus.

That's right - in the US it will come with a SIM because there's only one provider. In the rest of the world, we will be able to choose a provider, just like with the iPhone.
