    Default RipIt and it's file format

    Hi all I need to rip A purchased DVD and was wondering if anyone no's the file format that RipIt.app creates after ripping

    .VOB as far as I know.

    Open RipIt preferences and you will see in the General Tab it defaults to .dvdmedia.
    If you uncheck the box it will result in VTS
    Toast will handle both formats.
    If you want other formats - go through ffmpegX, Handbrake etc after producing your VTS.
