I was going to ask a similar question

I have the iamakey 8GB and they list the write speeds at 10mb/s vs the 30mb/s this was is listed at.

While I wouldn't call it slow or unusable, it could always be faster when dealing with large amounts of data. For me I just love having something that blends into my keys and takes up no space... Might just have to order a couple of these pending speed reviews for the other sets of keys in the house

Yeah, maybe unusable is a bit of an overstatement but copying 6GB of App's onto it took an hour and a half. I took a 2.5" hard drive and it did it in 45 seconds!

Do you use the usb with Macs and PC? My 16GB SanDisc had similar issues when I was using it with my mac and the work PCs.

After formatting the usb it went back to lightning speeds =)

    I would recommend a format.

Went out into the world for once to get myself a new laptop bag. I had a look round and settled on the STM bag below.

It's quite nice, seems quite sturdy with heaps of pockets.

I got mine from Next Byte, heaps of room. A bit costly but finding nice laptop bags in Perth is really hard!

Couple of hard to find iPods. These iPod+hp units were only sold for a fairly short time. I've personally never seen them for sale in Australia.
Both came with all accessories and paperwork.

Here is my new Ipod+hp mini 4GB. Unit is in mint condition and still plastic wrapped. Few knicks on the box edge but nothing serious.

Also picked up big brother. Unit has a few light scratches but nothing that detracts from it. Very happy chappy.

    ^Those are really cool.

I should have kept my iPod Colour (i think it was a 40GB).

Gave it away with my iMac years ago..

I still find it so bizarre Apple let HP brand iPods, or even the fact HP would want iPods and to brand them.

    Cool finds

It was to do with distribution. HP had a large presence in retail stores such as Wal-mart. Apple wanted some of that action.

What is interesting is that the serial numbers on these iPods were in a different format to those found on Apple's iPods.
Also if something went wrong with your iPod+hp, Apple wouldn't repair it, you had to get it repaired by hp themselves (even though they were exactly the same internally).
