Recent purchases = 24 inch Apple Screen & 17 inch Macbook Pro. I've now changed my desktops for each screen.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be picking up my 500d Twin Lens camera as well.

I am worried that your iPhone will fall off the table.

are those glass tables safe? I have heard of them exploding for no good reason. With 5k worth of stuff on there, i wouldnt put too much faith in those china made tables

It was only there while I took the picture... I've now dug out my old universal dock - and much to my surprise it actually charges and works with my 3GS!

Same table held my iMac for months without any problem... and this is lighter by a big factor. I also have home and contents insurance that covers that kind of thing happening. The table top is from Ikea - If I remember right it's rated for 50kg.

    Thanks for the concern though!

    Picked up these from MSY

To go into this I picked up from the Doncaster Apple Store:

Together with 2x 24" LCDs, the mini will be my main Mac, with the laptop being used for transit, in the cave, on the couch and any other excursions.

still loving it, highly highly reccomended.. after all - if you have a $1000+ laptop, why not protect it?

I don't want to derail this thead, but I found that the vyper didn't offer much protection at all. It felt like nylon covered cardboard. Pretty strong in the corners I guess, but you could just flex the middle part, it's very thin and there's no padding. Not my type of case I guess.

I was kinda sceptical about buying the DDR3 RAM from MSY to put into my MBP but since you have, I guess it shouldn't be a problem then

I agree, I don't think this Keec neoprene sleeve I have is sufficient enough for protection, I might go get a Gecko Pro case.

Beatles Mono Box Set finally arrived courtesy of Amazon. The Stereo Box Set was courtesy of DJs, but that'll be going on eBay shortly, since I only got it in case the Mono never turned up!

Credit Card took a pounding this morning in preparation for my assault on the Classic Adelaide tarmac rally. Had to buy all new gear to ensure everything meets FIA World Standards. Yes the bill in excess of $2k hurts, but if it means saving my life, then its cheap insurance... Everything is meant to be fireproof up to 36 seconds ( ! )

    Sparco Hurricane Fireproof Gloves

    Sparco Slalom Race Boots

ERG FIA Standard brain bucket and padded carry bag. I was told no stickers or paint or scratches allowed on the helmet as these may compromise the structural rigidity of the helmet and it won't get through scrutineering by the boffins before race day, so it will stay virginal white)

When I saw those pics PeteinSA, I thought "DAMN! He's taking that XBox racing sim stuff pretty seriously!" then realised you're gonna be racing a real car.
