Normally I'm a bareback kind of guy, not wanting to detract from the pleasure I get from my devices with a case or even a skin, but with a couple of new MBP's in the family and the wife wanting a skin to protect/funkify her lappy I bought her this:

Since I was ordering stuff and had seen the quality of the skin she had on her iPhone I thought I could protect my iPhone for a few $$ too:

And not to be outdone on the MBP side of skins I went for the matching skin for my laptop:

The skin actually comes with the Apple logo pre-cut out, had I of known that I might have photo shopped out the appropriate bit's so I could leave it white, but even with the backlight shining through it still looks pretty cool:

I'm pretty pleased with the quality and finish of these skins too, highly recomment Skinit (at least so far )

They were done through Skinit.com: Phone Skins, Laptop Skins, iPod Skins, Gaming Skins: Personalization on Demand however the Simpsons ones are not off the shelf rather from an image file I already had. I was a little skeptical about what sort of quality it would produce being a 2560 x 1600 file, but hey, it looks pretty damn good to me.

PM me your email address and I'll shoot you the jpg version of the file which I used to make mine. Otherwise, have a look at their other designs

Got these 2 iRiver MP3 players recently.

    X20:

$49 from Cash Converters-has a MicroSD card slot and works great with my Mac

    E10:

This one was $99 at Retravision-it was reduced to tha price from $199.

They seemed to be clearing out their remaning stocks of the E10-only had a few E10 players left at the Pacific Fair (Gold Coast) store.

So at the $99 price, I was very lucky to get one.

And picked up a iRiver case for it-the case was $5.

Belkin armband case for 3rd gen nano:

Got this for $4.25 at Myer-they were clearing these out.

i t was marked originally at $5, then at the register it was reduced down to $4.25.

It originally cost $30 when new in 2007.

This armband case has a handy little pocket to hold a set of keys-or as I found, holds a 3rd gen shuffle quite well.
