    Hi all,

I've been having trouble going to paypal in safari... It simply won't load.

It works fine in Internet Explorer though.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Anyone got an explanation or theory on why, and possible solution?

    Cheers

I have had the problem too. But noticed that if you click the x in Safari to stop loading, it will go on to the next stage.

A mate of mine (IT guru in my eyes&#33 tells me that it's because the SSL encryption on some sites such as paypal, is microsoft based technology/programming whatever, and so doesn't play well with others, such as Safari. Safari being Apple only, whereas Firefox is Windows and Mac.

Apparently some banking and online shopping sites have the same problem for Safari users, for the same reason....

Looks like we just have to use Firefox or IE unfort.

The latest, but I've never had a problem, and I've been using Safari since Jaguar. Maybe you're running some kind of plugin or using a misbehaving proxy server?
