Well this topic would fit in to 2 forums and you'll see why

This website called 'Widget Machine' utilises some of the best UI of a website I've ever seen!

This is the most beautiful & functional website I've ever seen!

Using a really cool interface it sells widgets (some free), and has some very cool widgets, like the FTP one.

I think this website only works in Safari and Firefox thou.

the site has little respect among the widget developer community.
Most of us dont believe widgets should be sold (unless they are custom made).
The site design is also a major rip of delicious library

I totally agree widgets should be totally free, I can't see why there charging for them.

I think Apple shouldn't even let people charge for them, you spend $200 dollars on Tiger, and if people wan't to develop widgets they should do it for fun not to make money

But I still like the design

I like the design... As iSlayer said, slightly unoriginal though.

As for paying for widgets... I think it's ok, but only if the widgets are huge and have taken a big amount of dev time. I'm not sure any on that site qualify.

Tried their free iTunes remote control and found it a lot more responsive than the default (though i don't like the GUI)
