Default Nintendo DS lookalike app hits the App Store

Apple might have let one slip by. An app that looks awfully similar to the Nintendo DS is now available in its App Store.

Does it say what that app actually does?

Seems it duplicates the look and some of the functionality of the DS. Nintendo might have a cow about it, but I doubt Apple will care too much unless they get hit with a copyright suit because it's not "emulation", just duplication.

But the DS doesn't actually have any functionality without a game inserted, except for Pictochat, which would seem to me to be pretty shit without a stylus.

    *shrug*

I never said it was a good effort, or terribly useful application. According to the article it has a game or two. Why play games in a DS look-alike app when you can just play games on the phone itself without the crappy interface?
