    Default USPS shipping - is this normal?

    I brought some stuff from USA via ebay and they shipped it on 26th june via International Priority mail (USPS)

    I received the track number from the buyer and when i tried to track it


    Out of Foreign Customs, July 02, 2009, 3:29 pm, AUSTRALIA
    Into Foreign Customs, July 02, 2009, 2:58 pm, AUSTRALIA
    Arrived Abroad, July 02, 2009, 2:57 pm, AUSTRALIA
    International Dispatch, June 29, 2009, 12:43 pm, ISC SAN FRANCISCO (USPS)
    Arrival
    Electronic Shipping Info Received, June 26, 2009

    the last update is out from customs on 2nd of july

    is the package still in Melbourne ? is it normal to take more than 5 working days to reach ADL from MEL?

    It's still coming via Aus Post, so yeah, a week or so can be normal from clearing of customs. I'd say if nothing by end of tomorrow, give someone a nudge.

    I ordered an item from the US last Thursday - it was shipped via USPS International Priority and it arrived Monday morning!!!

    Mail usually routes thru Sydney if im not wrong. Customs open it up and forward it to their offices in your state; otherwise, it goes thru to aussie post, who will deliver it

    Still the package is not delivered.

    I ordered macbookpro top case from USA via Ebay

    shipping is USPS international express post and Is supposed to come to Adelaide.

    But from aus post website

    they are trying to deliver it in Vic , I cross checked with sender regarding my address and It clearly says South Australia with my home address and my mobile number.

    Yep, no surprises there. I've bought things from the US (via USPS) that have taken one day to reach Australian shores ... then another two weeks while AustPost gets their shit together

    they officially lost my first item and this is my second item in a 60 day period.

    Today I lodged a complaint with Postal Industry Ombudsman

    When I called AusPost and gave my tracking num, they said it had been previously delivered to Adelaide in April 2009.

    What the...

    Can LazyDesi send me a pm or email ? I think an Auspost employee may be acting too smart here..
