    Hello

    I bought a D-link DWL-122 USB wireless card.

I had it working all ok, with encryption etc. But after a short time of use my system locks up, no mouse movement no keyboard input.

update a few days ago when I went looking for the most recent driver their site linked to version 1.3.2. but it still crashed

then I found a newer version at MacUpdate - 1.4.7

    www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15997

I've had it installed for over 8 hours and not a freeze nor a kernel panic so far.

    hope this helps you out.

I always make sure to get the latest version of drivers from the web for any device I buy. Considering that most gear you buy in shops was made months before, the drivers in the box are often seriously out of date.

i guess tho its frustrating when the company itself doesnt announce or host the latest software updates and it takes google or a forum like this to get the product working
    ah well
