    Default iPhone battery rapidly dying!

    Hi,
I got my 3G iPhone when they were released last July, so not very old.

Anyway, the battery was totally fine, lasted a normal length cycle etc etc
A couple of days ago though, suddenly I noticed the battery didn't even last a whole day before it was on 10%, and I hadn't used it more than normal. The next day the same thing happened.

Today, it began to run out again, so I plugged it into the charger. I checked back a few hours later and it was on the red! The little picture shows that it is actually charging, it registers the charger and makes the noise and everything, the power is just diminishing rapidly!

I'm going to try and make it to the apple store tomorrow morning, but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why this might have suddenly happened, or any fixes beforehand?
    Thankkss

Probably just a dud battery. Make sure you make a reservation before heading into the Apple Store!

    Thanks for the reply
why would it just suddenly die though? It was fine a couple of days ago.
I didn't realise you needed an appointment, I think i'll go in and try my luck and see what they say. It's not like having a dud ipod where you can just take it in and leave it, I really need my phone on me eek.
