Default Archiving Mail on IMAP Server

    Hey All,

I have my mac setup to read the emails off my website-hosting providers server.
So i can read, reply and delete all locally from my machine in which it will then update the server.

    Setting config is IMAP.

Ok so everything works fine and all although my mailbox is almost full and I've allocated as much space as possible. I would now like to 'download' the emails off the server onto my local HD for safe keeping.

Is this at all possible? I would want it set up to perform an 'archive' of my inbox much like how Windows Outlook archives your mailbox onto your machine, which can also be viewed in the users mailboxes pane.

I hope i've explained that right. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Ben

Hey bud thanks for the reply. Have already tried that and it doesn't do exactly what I'm after.

It archives the files fine, but how do I get them to appear in the Mailboxes Pane so I can view them?
