    Default Trying to add a Scanner to my new MacBook

    This is my first Mac so im not so sure how to work all of it yet and i want to use my Epson Stylus CX5000 scanner.... help?

    You should have got a Mac driver disk with the printer. You can download from Epson also:
    Epson Stylus CX5000, Drivers & Downloads - Technical Support - Epson America, Inc.

    There's a twain driver which you can install to use the scanner directly from apps like Photoshop or other Twain compliant programs, and there also a basic stand-alone Epson App 'Scan Utility' which you can use to do basic scanning if you don't have Photoshop.

    Should just be a matter of installing them straight from the CD or download.
