    Default SwitchRESx

okay with my whole macbook to lcd (bravia) thread going a bit pear shaped, apologies for that but i just can't get this right.

i have been told about this program that i can create custom resolution, the tv's resolution is
1366x768 and the closet i can see is 1344 X 756 in the drop down menu.

it defaults to 1920 x 1080 but this really doesn't look as i was hoping!

is this program safe to d.load About SwitchResX...

and has anybody got experience with it, if i can create 1366 X 768 (which is native for the tele) this will solve the issue and i'll get some serious brownie points from the mrs. which ends up with me being able to spend more money

closest you'll probably get is 1360*768 as reses have to be divisible by 8. I have an aver 32" and my MacBook works fine on that so surprised your Bravia doesn't.

so you are using this program? would love to see a screenshot of the program, appears to be a tad complex.

    1344 X 756 any good?
