    Default Mozila Minefield

Mozila are fighting back at the threat of Google's super fast Chrome browser with a new and even faster browser of their own.

    Minefield

Still in early alpha so expect it to be a little buggy.

    Download it here

Looks exactly like Firefox, just quicker and only some of your add ons will currently work.

Oh and it works on Mac's too

I'm using Firefox 3.1b1, which has most of the speed. Whatever you use, it doesn't matter, as the future of the web is in Javascript/AJAX, so all browser developers are working on Javascript speed as a priority.

Minefield is the codename for the development or "trunk" builds that will eventually become Firefox.

And yet again they have removed some functionality with this version which are pissing allot of people off. In this case the "New Tab" button which you can add to the Bookmarks Bar via Customise.

If anyone is interested, I am beta testing a New Tab Button add-on by CatThief of the Mostly Cyrstal Theme.
