Please help

How do I get rid of the blue screen at start up ? Have a mac intel &mac os x 10.4.10 & upgraded with Leopard upgrade dvd to the current version 10.5.5

When I turn the mac On , I get the gray screen with the apple logo and progress indicator and then blue screen for few seconds. Is this normal ?

Try this: Mac OS X 10.5: "Blue screen" appears after installing Leopard and restarting

If you're talking about the blue screen between the gray background with the Apple logo/'progress spinning circle' and the launch of the OS that lasts only for a brief moment, then this is completely normal. Nothing you can do about it.
