Yeah the ad is fine, it shows that it used by a wide spectrum of people who don't just look like accountants in suits. I love Apple, but I'd like to see them get a bit more creative with their commercials now. After all, the majority of Apple users tend to be creative people themselves.

"Life Without Walls" is stupid though. How in hell does it relate to the ad?

I don't want to read the whole topic. But these ads are much better. Apple has literally stereotyped the "PC" guy as some boring office type guy which this Ad is showing (metaphorically?) this is not the case.

Please, Microsoft. Just bring out an Ad to show how much more Boring Macs are in the gaming department, both software and hardware wise. A cheap shot, but since gaming is what makes most people find their computer 'fun', IMO, it's a valid point,

you must be all blinded by the light.

this is a fantastic ad. unpretentious and down-to-earth, something that the apple ads have never been.

operating systems aside (as I enjoy the benefits of both osx and vista), this ad, and the more to follow, will show you not only the differences in marketing strategies, but in corporate positioning, and how both companies contribute to assist important global issues, aside from capitalisation.

They've copied Apple's OS, copied Apple's Apps, copied Apple hardware, copied Apple's iPods, copied Apple's iTunes Store and they're planning to copy Apple's App store - and now to try and sell it all, they've copied and idea from Apple's advert.

No wonder creative people use Macs.

(Obviously the agency that produced the advert uses Windows).
