Hey,

I'm looking at getting a gig of ram in my new powerbook 12" 1.33. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a good place to get it for a reasonable price?

Thanks
-Mike

Try Razor Prices they have a nice search function that scouts out most pc retailers with cheapest price.

Also another one i found recenctly is Ausprices

epowermac.com.au is good and usually quite cheap otherwise you good sized local computer shop should have some in stock - depending on brand etc it can expensive. have a call around.

1 Gig chips are still very expensive, they are much more than 512's , it might be worth investing in only 1x512.

I'll give TWO thumbs up to site supporters epowermac.. I just purchased a 1 Gig stick for my 15" PowerBook (taking it up to 1.5 Gig) from them, and it arrived promptly and worked a treat..

Others on this site have brought from them and have had similar happiness - check their prices, but i was told that they were the best for Apple laptop RAM

here's the promised two thumbs up:

Mid City Computer have fairly cheap IBM / Kingston RAM.
I picked up 256MB PC2700 for $75

MSY have the same for $65 but I'm not sure of the brand.
512MB for $135. (www.msy.com.au)
