When I eventually order my PB 15 1.67Ghz, I'd want to upgrade the RAM from 512Mb to 1Gb. When purchasing from the AppleStore online, I notice the cost of this upgrade is just over $200 edu.

Can someone tell me if this is a reasonable price or would it be better to purchase this memory seperately from another supplier (pref an AU based supplier)??

    Cheers

try a different supplier - http://www.epowermac.com.au are usually good priced, even local PC shops should have some for you. It will work out much cheaper!

IMHO Apple's RAM has always been overpriced, you're much better off getting it elsewhere - even an AppleCentre is cheaper than buying it from the online store.
