    Default Uploaded photo orientation incorrect

    Hi, i am a newbie to the site and loving it. It has proved to be a great recourse and has answered allot of my niggly Mac questions already.

    One problem I cannot find a solution to is the following....
    Say I have a photo I want to upload to say Facebook, Photoshop etc. When I open the photo to view the photo it is correctly orientated, however when I upload the same picture it somehow manages to spin itself 45 degrees to the left. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I use a Powerbook G4 1.33

    Welcome to Mac.

    It always helps to mention which OS version and which version of iPhoto you're using.

    This issue you're talking about happened a lot in older versions of iPhoto. Rebuilding the thumbnail/photo database seems to fix it, as per the instructions here:
