Smile I'm trying to save php.ini.default as php.ini

    Hi

I don't know how to save a copy of php.ini.default as php.ini as I don't know how to get root access with the Finder. I know how to do it in Kubuntu, i.e. in the Terminal I'd type "kdesu Konqueror".

How do I do this in Leopard? Do I use the Terminal?

I'm trying to setup a local testing environment for apache, php and mysql. I"ve found a tutorial here

    Thanks

It might be a wise idea to use cp (instead of mv in the line above)

Otherwise you will have no php.ini.default left over to use again, since mv = move and cp = copy.
