    Default Recommend an online calendar

as the topic suggests...i am looking for a an online calendar that i can share with four other people. i also want them to have the ability to edit the calendar/ make changes etc. the users work of xp.

security would be a essential as it will have contact details etc.

(have looked at google calendar and it does not suit)

    thanks in advance

Then you haven't looked hard enough in my opinion. Google calendar fits all of your requirements and more...

Can I ask why Google Calendar doesn't suit?

Syncs with both macs and PCs, accessible online, editable by many, securable, sharable..

IMHO It's pretty damn awesome, I'm curious to know what ti doesn't do that you need.

You can also subscribe (RSS) to your Google Calendar with iCal, so it shows up on your Mac.

Agreed with all of the other posters. I use Google Calendar and it works just fine - sharing a calendar with my partner and it is great for keeping things organized.

Also even though you're not a Mac user, Google Notifier is excellent for upcoming reminders, via pop-up or email form.

thanks for the replies...here are some questions about google calender

    - security? as using it for appointments.

    - do i need just one account or does every user need to be set up?
    - or will it be one account giving access to the other users?

    i am a mac user...the people i am sharing with use pc's

Each person should have their own account.

If they use Gmail, it's already there.

    Security is good?

You can set up one account for yourself (again, if you have Gmail or use Google Docs, it should be there already and just sign-in), then share it with others but I think it should work with non-Google email addresses/accounts too.

    thanks once again...using google calendar.

has anyone used or is using Sunbird? A question I have is - can I let Sunbird sit on a server and have 3 users use it at the same time. looking into the option of having a shared calendar on the network (Win Server 2003).

    thanks in advance

How can you subscribe? I use both iCal & Google, syncing them would be great! I tried subscribing in iCal, but it is for other iCal calendars only. Any tips?

    Cheers!
