    Hi

    Does anyone know if the 15" 1.33ghz had a 5400rpm drive standard? Ive seen them advertised for $2699 but the new 1.5ghz is only $2814 EDU with 512mb of ram and 5400rpm drive.. though i dont know that i can get another laptop on edu since i only got my ibook 5 months ago..

    The 1.3ghz 15" powerbook had a 4200rpm hdd standard and you had to request a 5400 if you wanted one.

    I dont think its a problem to buy another powerbook at the educational rate, though Apple would have a policy on this, just ring and ask or look on their site.

    With education discount, you can buy one portable and one desktop a year.
    So you should be fine with ordering a new powerbook.

    Education discount use to come with a 3 year warranty but with no phone support past the first 90 days. This no longer applies, education customers now get the standard warranty.
    What am I supposed to put in here?

    Seems like a better idea to go with the newer powerbook then. Now all i need is the money
