Default Case or sleeve for 15" Macbook Pro?

Any recommendations out there for either a laptop case or sleeve for a 15" Macbook Pro?

All depends on how rough you're going to be with it. If it's going to be on trains or buses, and not in another bag, a case is probably a good idea over a sleeve.

I have one of these I bought at Graysonline for $9 + $21.00 postage brand new and it's fabulous.

I bought it on a hunch and was very pleased as I got if for a song.

The cell that protects the laptop is very, very good and the whole thing is beautifully padded.

It fits my 15 inch MBP really well.

    cheers

    Paul

P.S. I also use a Foof bag (sleeve) leopard spots in colour to protect the MBP even more.

I use a sleeve in a bag too (okay, multiple bags, I'm a girl). STM's sleeve is fantastic, have a wander through rushfaster for a bag you think will fit your needs.

I wanted a sleeve with pockets for the power adapter and video cable, and couldn't find one neat enough to fit inside my workbag. So I made one! I used the paper sleeve the macbook came in for a pattern, bought some fabric & velcro from spotlight and hey presto! A very cheap and serviceable sleeve with just the right pockets and it fits in my bag. You can make it as funky as you like.... if you know a sewer there is a simple solution for you.

STM glove - $50 - simplest and the best. throw the MBP in whatever you care to after that.

I got mine in an STM then in a 45 yr old leather briefcase - not a mark or a dint

I had a stm glove for my 17" PB...
but I thinking of getting one of the speck snap on covers?
CLEAR of course though - why would I want to hide or chance the colour of my new MBP?

I bought the STM Duplex and the removable 15" bag inside is nice and padded. My MBP came with a nice Gecko sleeve that fits inside the STM 15" bag for extra protection when travelling.

This is my second STM bag after having a backpack for my old Toshiba laptop. Excellent bags from an Aussie company.
