    Default New macbook

Bought a new white standard MB yesterday & i gotta say its a very nice to use.Even my wife likes it & shes uses a top spec ibm.
It came with a 80 gig hardrive & already its filling up fast so i might in the future upgrade to a 160gig or larger.
Can i use any brand of sata hardrive?
Overall i am very pleased with this purchase.

    Cheers

    Yeah pretty much?

    I recommend Seagate personally
Make sure it's the right size (2.5") and the speed you want is at least 5400rpm or 7200rpm if you want faster access.

I have a Seagate Momentus 5400.3 (160GB) and it was about $190 when I bought it, probably around $160 now if you search on StaticIce.com.au

    Congrats on the purchase

Upgraded to 2gig of Corsair Mac memory, the upgrade process took all of 5 minutes to complete.Hardest part was finding a small enough screwdriver!
I also have an emac & i replaced the harddrive recently which is a nightmare to install so another plus to the Macbook.

    Cheers
