    Default What's RazorSQL like?

    Hi,

Am keen to get learning with SQL - found the RazorSQL shareware downloadable off Apple site.

Anybody used it? What's your thoughts?

How compatible is it with online SQLs such as MySQL?

    Compatible with Windows softwares?

    This the one? http://www.razorsql.com/

Looks like it's just a query tool. If you don't need to access any particular SQL database then I'd suggest the following:

    1. Visit http://www.mysql.org
    2. Download the installer package
    3. Download the MySQL query browser.

Or get a CPanel hosting account, a few are free, and remote access to the MySQL on that.

Yes. And I remember one better, in a sense, one that worked with Excel spreadsheets, and Filemaker DBs, as well as making PHP pages around the MySQL ability. All in MacOS 10.

So you could use Excel and/or Filemaker into the MySQL system and generate dynamic pages to use.

Wish I could remember the name.
