    Default Good Diary Program?

As I sit here skipping class because I know I have a lot of things to do, but no idea what or when they're due... I'm thinking - I really should plan my life a bit better...

I did have a huge wall calendar last year, with just enough room on each day to write cryptic notes to myself... but couldn't find one this year at Uni...

I had thought that OS X came with a basic kind of diary/calendar program? but could find only "Address Book".

Can anyone recommend a good (free) program to use?

    cheers

There is also Palm Desktop - which used to be called Claris Organizer back in the day. I've been using it for years & even though it hasn't been updated for a while, I still find it suits my needs better than Address Book & iCal.

Thanks soulman. Had to use macupdate.com to get it - didn't seem to want to let me download it from their site.

Just trying it out now. God - busy month ahead...!

Mmm - that's good too - just added a new user for my fiancée. She's a student as well, so will be good for both of us.

Cool! Something else that's not obvious about it and may, or may not, be of interest to you is that it has pretty good AppleScript support. I've used this to make PD the core of a contact management system I use in my business. Saves me heaps of time when writing letters, addressing envelopes & tracking client contacts.

I use iCal and I find it integrates better with other Mac than third party solutions like Palm Desktop (and I'm a Palm user).

Alliteratively, if it is mainly for managing your uni commitments you might want to check out iProcrastinate.
