    Default Old school house war cries ?

    So being the athletic bunch we all are, did you ever go to the school athletic advents ? swimming carnival etc etc..
    if so, if you can remember what was your 'war cry' ?
    i was in sturt for my whole 7 years of primary schooling.

    WHAT ARE YOUR LEGS?

    Hey so was I now you say it! I'd forgotten any until you said yours. Regarding war cries - don't know, don't care. Never said them anyway.

    yeh! the school i went to had sturt, oxley, blaxland, and mitchell.
    oxley was always the best, i swear they hand picked the most athletic kids in the school. grr.
    haha, i dont go to the events at my current school.. i dont even think they have a war crys.

    The primary school I went to had Sturt, Oxley, Flinders, Wentworth.
    I was another one from sturt.

    Dont remember any war cries however.

    our high school soccer team had a song they'd sing after we took (yet again) another pounding ... something about 'where was the goalie when the ball was in the net ...?'

    we always focussed on the end result ...

    In year 5 or 6, someone came up with 'The roos, the roos, the roos are on fire'. I thought it was clever until I found out that it was actually a really popular song at the time (albeit with one letter's difference).

    The enxt year someone completely rewrote the Port Power song to fit in with our team. It was horrible, but everyone seemed to love it.

    Our swimming carnival is tomorrow, and I'm not planning on going.

    Our school has Maddison (that's me!), Stirling (they're 2nd) and Tolmer (they suck) . But I can't remember for the life of me what our war cry is...

    We all had house war crys and a school war cry. I never quite got why they all used imaginary words. Is it to strike fear into the hearts of your enemy with incoherent ramblings?
