    hey guys..

I've got iTunes, an external HD and an ipod. My whole music library is on my external HD (because of its size) - so if i want to listen to anything in my 'Favorites' playlist, i have to have the HDD connected. Thats fine when I'm at home, but when I'm not i'd like to listen to a small collection of them - which are currently in a playlist.

what I'm trying to find is, is a piece of software that can sync all the songs in a specified playlist into either a folder on my laptops hdd or another mounted volume. they don't need to be playable from iTunes, just files in a folder or mounted DMG file.

i've tried 3 apps off versiontracker but none of them do what i thought they would or work at all.

if any one has any suggestions, that'd be great.

    thanks in advance!

The latest version of Martian Slingshot is supposed to synchronise iTunes playlists.

I've not used it, and don't know if it's suitable for your setup, but it might be worth a look.
