There is an integrated SIM as well as the usual pull out SIM tray which you can use as normal.
Just bought a load of Vodafone data sims for our trip around Aus in our motorhome. They last three months or 16gb data. So just pull out the used one and pop in the new one. How does that work if the sim is integrated? May stop me from getting the new one. Currently have the original Air.

Can someone please explain the embedded sim part to me? In Australia which providers allow us to use embedded SIM? Also does the embedded SIM become locked to a carrier?
