Default Some Old Computers - Free to a good home

    Hey all,

I finally need to clear out my old Mac's and a couple PC's that I have hung onto for way too long.

    First up is these three:

First up is a B&W G3 - my second mac ever
    350mhz
Optical Drive (can't recall exact one, likely DVD-RW)
    Zip 100
Currently has 256mb of RAM although have enough to make it at least 512mb
Neat part - Radeon 7000 Pro 32mb GC with DVD Decoder add-on. Paid a lot for that in the day.

    Second is a early G4
    400mhz
    256-512mb RAM
    Optical Drive
    Stock ATI GC

Third is a MDD G4 (last OS 9 bootable version)
    Single 1.25ghz G4
    Radeon 9000 Pro 64mb
    Combo Drive
    1gb RAM
    No Power Supply

Also have a Quicksilver G4 - no photo for this
    Dual 1ghz
    Optical Drive
    Zip drive (maybe zip 250mb)
Stock Geforce MX 4 graphic card
    Some RAM - likely 512mb.
Has a Firewire and USB expansion card
Has some sort of S-Video input thing. S-Video connector on back panel, attached to an expansion card on the mobo.

All of these work when last used.

All of these macs will come without HDD's if for free. I have a large amount of IDE drives that will suit these models ranging from 40gb to 200gb. Because I would need to wipe them before passing them on, i'd ask $5 per drive regardless of size. I have had a four HDD's in the MDD in the past.

I also have a 17" inch Apple Studio Display with the ADC connector (I think thats right). So that would match the Quicksilver and MDD just fine.

To go with all this I have:
    - Keyboards and mice (some will match, some will not, some will be hockey pucks :P)
    - Spare IDE cables
    - Quite a lot of spare RAM - both DDR 400 and SD 100/133 to suit all the macs.
    - Power cables
    - Some old video adapters
    - Have some CD-RW drives you could place in them if needed.
    - And more random accessories / cables

In addition to this, I have two PC's to get rid of. Use them for parts if you wish.

PC 1 - My main PC when studying
    Pentium 4 - 2.4ghz 800fsb
    1gb RAM
    2 x DVD-RW
    Removable drive bay
    550w power supply
Radeon x1650 256mb (Note: this was one of the best AGP graphics cards you could buy at the time)

    PC 2
    AMD Athlon 1.8ghz
    512mb RAM
    DVD-RW
    Radeon 9250 128mb

Once again, both PC's worked when last used. The P4 even ran Windows 7 at one stage. Technically, it meets the requirements for Windows 8.1. Once again, no HDD's unless you want to give me $5 to wipe a few.
Have keyboards/mice/power cables and a bunch of other stuff. Believe I still have original driver CD's for motherboard / GC etc.

Ideally I would like this all gone to the one person.

The PC's I don't card about, but the mac's I would love to go to someone who would either take care of them or get some benefit out of them.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Just realised I forgot to put my location.
    I am in Rowville 3178.
Pickup could be on a weekend or after 8pm on a weeknight.

I will leave it up for the remainder of the weekend just in case someone offers a few dollars for it all, but otherwise consider them yours.

Far out, I'm in Rowville too! Local Mac collectors unite.

If Hunter doesn't want the B&W G3 I'd be very interested. I used to have one but it was a friend's and I had to give it back

I'd be willing to part with a bit of cash for it too if that's an incentive for either of you!

Given there is a few machines for hunter he may not mind parting with one. Awaiting his contact.

Other than the G3 claimed by Neoxide, everything else is still available. Didn't receive any follow up from hunter.

Let me know if any of you are interested. Would hate to have to put these out for hard rubbish.

Really sorry about that, should be working now. Was away from internet this weekend and hadn't realised I'd reached the limit (just cleared out 8 years of PMs from my inbox).
