Default No News app on my iPad with iOS 9

Just installed it but the much touted News app is missing. Is it USA only?

Whoa. They kept that quiet. Didn't see that anywhere.

I don't think they ever announced it but I think I read somewhere that people on 9.1 public beta in Australia have the news app.

Me too! No News, Health or HomeKit apps (or at least icons) on my iPhone 6 which has iOS 9 just loaded today.

I guess that's the same problem although there are references to these within the Settings.

Can't see how to later load these system apps. Anybody found a way?

Hope they're just being kept on ice by Apple for now ...

iMore has instructions for switching to US region to get News in other countries. Not much good if you want Australian spelling or km.

News was the only thing I wanted from iOS 9.
To say this is disappointing, would be an understatement!

Marco was right… watchOS, she no work-y, News no work-y.

But hey… it's not crashing my >$1000 smart phone… so everything is "Great", right Tim?
