Default Transferring data from old MacBook Pro to new MacBook Pro

Hi. Well, my MacBook Pro mid 2010 model is being replaced with a new MacBook Pro retina display. It should arrive on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Will transferring my data (documents, iTunes library, photos etc) be a simple exercise? I've read this support article: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204350 While it looks relatively easy, I'm not sure if the new MacBook will have an Ethernet cable port. Could someone confirm?
