Yeap, they went pretty quick. Friend got the 13" and 15" battery.

Good luck to them :P I bought two of those from JB a while backhand they were both dead. Returned them to the store, and a few weeks later the same ones (with returned, but working stickers) were on display... disappointed at JB for that, as I demonstrated that the batteries were definitely not working.

For $16.50, might as well give it a go. If they are faulty, they can always ask for a refund. Otherwise, bargain! Never had issues with JB though

I would have tried again, but they're all gone now :P

The problem with the batteries was that they've been sitting for years and have thus died. My worry was more that they'd put two batteries that were definitely not working back out for sale @ $50 which I thought was a bit wrong..

The battery in my 15" MacBook Pro (Pre-Unibody) failed recently. Really wish I'd spotted this yesterday.

Is there any other place where I can buy Macbook 2009 batteries ? Preferably genuine Apple ones.

I plan to get mine from iFixit (thats for the mid 2010 macbook) they are $99. I think they are genuine Apple ones. Over here you're looking at huge cost.
