Hi,

I'm wondering what the performance improvements are going to be with a new MBP over my older spec'd machine (listed below):

Potential new machine: (priced off apple online store today - $3,249.00)
Specifications
2.8GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.0GHz
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
Intel Iris Pro Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory
Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide

I upgraded the old spinny hard drive to a Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD Media a couple of years back which greatly improved performance.

It just seems to be getting a bit laggy now with Yosemite.
Mainly use for Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro X, I do a lot of .pdf creations bringing together a variety of document formats into contiguous .pdf's for presentation to clients, etc.

Looking for some advice as to wether the price is justified - is it worth the additional $70 to include the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory as well? Don't play any games on this computer.

Thanks..
