I reckon the slide for 'one more thing........' will be a video of Steve saying it.

I think the invite is maybe pointing to the fact there will be another event, we won't be able to get it all done at this one.

Also interestingly they are building their own structure at the site, so wonder why they need that? Apple build massive side stage for iPhone 6 event

Yeah, perhaps the iWatch won't be announced until October or November (together with new iPads).

Although why announce at the Flint Center if only the new iPhone will be presented?

Does Apple wish they could say more now? Or do they wish they could say more on September 9?

Well there's no colour in this invite, interestingly as we've had colour in all of the invites lately if I recall correctly. Wonder if it means anything.

The new iPhone will probably be big enough to fit a G5 chip in it

I'm thinking iPhone 4.0 and 4.7 and possibly the iWatch at this event. Perhaps the new Macbook Air gets demoed, and is a while off like the iMac late 2012 (Demoed but took a while to come out). Then the October event sees More Macs, iPads, iPods, Bigger iPhone.

You really want that new 4-inch don't you Oldmacs lol

Ok I am going to throw a wild piece of speculation out there. In the tradition of breaking the wording down, I think there is a key word here 'wish'.

There is a Apple product near everyone wishes for. What? A real Apple TV.

So I am thinking they show one at this event, maybe not for sale for awhile. The building next door is a demo area where the executives from the various media companies Apple has entered licences with, can show of their Apple TV offerings to the media masses.

Now I know no leaks at all to support this. However a TV might not be manufactured in China, which clearly would help with the leaks given what we are seeing with the iPhone.

Anyway it likely is just an iPhone and iWatch event, and the building is for all the third party people on board the wearable for demo's. Still I really like the idea of a real Apple TV.

I'm going to take a stab at guessing what it means: expansions to the Siri API.

I'm confident that a 4.0" iPhone will be mentioned. Either an iPhone 6, a new iPhone 6C or just the existing iPhone 5C.

Maybe I'm looking too simply at this... but in the sentence "Wish we could say more" the word 'say' jumps out to me because at the end of the day a phone was (is?) about making calls. So perhaps its simply pointing towards a phone?

I was thinking something along the same lines... But an iWatch may do the same thing - or its Siri and siri is on the iWatch?

Didn't they already advise this was going to happen at WWDC when announcing iOS8?

I would have thought that the "say more" is hinting towards the size of the next iPhone.

In all honesty, I think it has something to do with Apple containing their excitement through the plain and non-suggestive nature of the invite.

    Just an observation.

Or, maybe on the day they wont announce the 5.5" version, and thats what they cant say more about.

Or, maybe they just love seeing all the conjecture about hidden meanings that dont really exist.

Could the stage not be for a band or mini-concert? Something to do with the new Beats acquisition?

That could be, though I'd imagine they might want to wait for an iPod refresh/music event for that?

Who says they're not going to do that as well? The iPod event used to be in September/October before the iPhone got moved to post WWDC.

I'd say iPods will get done at this event. Note sure what will be done though. Can't see what they could do the the nano besides a software refresh to bring it inline with ios 7. The touch obviously needs to be updated to avoid another fiasco like the 4th gen ipod being sold way past it's use by date. The classic who knows and the shuffle I also suppose wouldn't need anything done to it.

I'd just like to see Siri work as well as Google Now, I find that Google Now rarely, if ever, makes a mistake in what I say. Siri on the other hand had difficulty with the Kiwi accent.

I personally feel that the iPhone 6 is merely going to be playing catch up to where the hardware for Android phones has been for some time now, unless Apple pull something really spectacular out of the bag it won't bring me back to the iPhone.
