    Default Penalty rates for wanting the new iPhone 6S Plus

    Hi,

    Currently with Telstra for a as long as I can remember. I'm not sure but there is this one time where I ended my contract early for a new iPhone probably about one year into my contract. I think I paid a penalty of $250 or something quite low. Has anyone tried ending their contract early? If so, what are the damages?
     100% Apple User.........with 10 x the  Hardware. Even my child as young as 1 has her own Apple Hardware.

    i haven't ever had a contract but I'm with Virgin and if I did have one, ending it early would mean paying the rest of the costs of the phone I believe, plus the costs of the plan? (not 100 percent sure on that one).

    Normally if you recontract they will waive the early termination charge.

    Do you still have to pay the full price of the iPhone though?

    If you cancel your plan before the end of your minimum term, you’ll need to pay an Early Termination Charge (ETC) and any
    remaining handset payments

    (according to the details I got with my phone).

    As you got the phone when it was released, Telstra included New Phone feeling free for the first 3 months of contract takers so you should be able to upgrade. Check with them
