Hi
Looks like my iPhone serial number qualifies.
However the button is working ok and for the last 12 months has not given me any issues...should I have it replaced anyway just in case.

Hey guys, i saw a report earlier that apple have admitted that some iPhone 5 phones have faulty lock buttons. They are saying they will fix it for free if you qualify, and you can check whether you do on the site below.
My phone had the faulty lock, and the serial number matched up, and when i took it to the store, they just decided to give me a refurbished phone rather than replace the button. It was a release day 5, so obviously well out of warranty.
Here's the information and serial number checker;

PS. I've just noticed on the site it says the program starts from the 2nd of May in all countries outside of the US.

^^ No. They'll be reluctant to replace it (if they do replace it at all). If it does fail in the next 6-12 months they'll still replace it free of charge.
ive jailbroken, so i cant replace my button just yet
