Default Redeeming iTunes cards with the built in camera

    Has anyone else tried it?

I did it recently from the camera in my thunderbolt display and was DAMN impressed! hold up the card and it's almost instantly (and correctly) recognised.

For such a simple little task it really is impress how well it "just works"!

Yes. Very impressed, used it via my iPhone 5 camera.

Yeah been using it for a while on the US Store and good to see it rolled out here. Just wish they could build it into the bar code somehow to get rid of the scratching bit.

Good news, I bought a $100 card from woollies yesterday -for $80 - and no scratching was involved. There was now a peel off label over the code. And I just needed to point iPhone 5 camera at it to redeem it.

This type of thing works well on the XBone as well, obviously not with iTunes cards very convenient.
