    Thumbs up

Unfortunately I installed SafariSpeed 1.0 and now my screen saver does not work.

The screen saver I had installed was mac3Dwatch 1.1 [BTW Mac3DWatch is a free ScreenSaver for MacOS X 10.3 or higher. It shows a live and spinning 3D metal watch synchronized with your local system watch, plus, optionally (in an overlaid scrolling text) up to 8 RSS news feeds coming from the following Macintosh related web sites]

When I open up system preferences and select the Desktop/Screen saver icon, system preferences closes down.

Also when the screen saver commences my screen flashes on and off. It is very annoying and I do not know how to fix this. Can someone help?? It also means I cannot adjust any screen saver options.

If you run safari speed up again, and hit 'reset defaults' - does that fix it?

I removed all my screen savers and then re installed and now the problem is partly fixed. The Mac3Dwatch screen saver does not work but all others do.

At least the screen has stopped flashing when the screen saver kicks in.
