The Lc 475 was sold for quite a while after the Power Pc was introduced and it was cheap!

Quadra 605 for me, followed by another fine bunch like the Quadra 630, Power Mac 6360, Quadra 900, SE/30... and the quad-CPU daystar genesis just to stretch the definition a little

Hmm... despite it's limitations I loved my 6100/66. It was a skip rescue and performed much better than the 66mhz 601 chip it had. My other favorite was my 7600/200 with a 400mhz G3 upgrade, a massive 12gb of SCSI storage space and VRAM upgraded to 4mb. I guess at the moment though its my Xserve G5.

If I'd chose one that I never owned for the time it would have to be the Pismo G3 Powerbook.

The SE/30 was a great machine. Wish I had kept mine. I like my SE though. No frills, just does what it's meant to, before computers had to be 'media centres' too. The computer was a computer, the TV was a TV, the phone for calling people, the record player playing the music. Old school. That said, I also like my iPad.... LOL
Macintosh SE (OS 7.1); 15" MBP Intel Core i5 2.4ghz (Snow Leopard); too many iGadgets

Just an observation... out of all the compact macs I own, virtually all of the Pluses and 512k's work. Virtually none of the Classics do It's a bit more hit and miss with the SEs

Has to be either the Quadra 610/ centris 610- the case was so cool! The other? The Powerbook Pismo, which was so very very easy to work with and lasted so very very long (OS 8 through 10.4.11).
Still using a Powerbook 5300cs for email. Unsure whether it came before email or after!
