With the number of iPad 3 part leaks, how long is it until we can manufacture an entire iPad 3? Adding to the list of rear casing, retina display and logic board is the front panel which doesn't show off anything unexpected; I mean, it has all the right holes in all the right places.

All these part leaks mean the time is just about right for pieces such as this one from MacStories which details ...

At the Chicago Sun-Times, Andy Ihnatko has a what can only be described as a dissertation on Mountain Lion and how it is pushing iOS integration even further. And he's not wrong —*Mountain Lion brings many iOS features and ways-of-thinking to the desktop.

MacRumors got a hold of a 9.7-inch display that looks exactly like the one that will be used in the next iPad. They examined it under a microscope, ...

If you're a regular reader of this little thing I like to call the news, then you'll know that we haven't had a weekend news piece for quite a while now. That changes, today.

Not to be talking about the Mountain Lion in the room right off the bat or anything, but I believe something needs to be said. Yes, the whole announcement was a bit of a surprise; it's great to ...

Boom. Just like that, Apple has announced the next iteration of OS X 10.8, called Mountain Lion. Ars Technica says Mountain Lion, available to the public later this year, is going to be more iOS-like than ever before, with a large majority of the "over 100 new features" coming from its younger sibling, including iMessage support in Messages, Notification Center, Game Center, and more.

    Speaking ...

Apple shares have hit an all time high of $500 per share, meaning that the world's largest publicly traded company now has a market cap of above $468 billion. Their share price also represents something else, a $100 growth since Steve Jobs' death. If that's not testament that Apple is still going strong, then I don't know what is.

When the Wall Street Journal says the iPad 3 will come in an LTE flavour, you better believe it. They say their sources are familiar with the matter, and I guess that's all there is to it, really. What else really needs to be said?

Oh, and the iPad 3 is apparently going to be announced on March 7. This close to the date it's definitely a plausible rumour.

In a move that could ...

With the release of the iPad 3 weeks away, Apple are now rushing to finalise apps for onstage demos, says The Next Web. There's almost nothing worse than having an app which doesn't show off the best new features of the iPad 3, so of course Apple is hand-picking the apps which will be shown. It's kinda funny, because as pundits excited for new tech, the demos are just about the most boring part of keynotes ...

Word on the street is Apple are going to announce the iPad 3 the first week in March, which means you should start thinking about selling your iPad 2 now if you think the rumours will pan out. And when the rumours come from All Things D, there's a pretty high possibility they'll pan out.

Fare thee well, white MacBook. You were a fantastic machine, and like all things Apple, had your time in the spotlight. You were the polycarbonate one, the white peg in the aluminium lineup of current model MacBook Pros, and now, you aren't any of those things any more as Apple has halted the distribution of yourself, even in educational channels.

There's murmurings that Apple will release ...

Tweetbot 2.0 was released this morning to much applause from the more enlightened Twitter community, and just like pretty much everything Tapbots, it's pretty great. Tweetbot 2.0 for iPhone features a few timeline improvements here and there, and is a pretty solid update all round.

But wait, there's more! Tweetbot for iPad was also released to an absolute explosion from Twitter folk about the ...
