Apple has unveiled the 27in iMac with Retina display, a new Mac mini, the second-generation iPad Air and the iPad mini 3 at its Cupertino campus this morning. Plus it announced OS X Yosemite is ready to go today.

iMac with Retina 5K display

Apple showed off the latest in its desktop range with the iMac with Retina display. The new 27in Mac has an incredible 5K display, the highest resolution display in the world, packing in 14.7 million pixels at 5120 x 2880.

Apple took to the stage this morning to unveil two much anticipated, new iPhone models, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, a new payment system called Apple Pay and the Apple Watch range.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller introduced the new, thinner iPhone lineup. The phones feature Retina HD displays, curved bezels, a new A8 chip and stainless steel Apple logos.

The last two iPhone models have featured a 4in display but, as expected, the iPhone 6 model has a larger 1334 x 750, 4.7in display, with a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch, while the iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 1920 x 1080, 5.5in display with a pixel density of 401ppi.
